Abstract
April 19th 1632, Philip IV, accompanied by his two younger brothers, Infant Charles and Ferdinand, entered the city of Valencia. The city honored them with a week full of fireworks, “encamisadas” and “saraos”. The royal entry is compiled in a small script of just five pages was written by “your brother R.B.”. Itistitled: Copia primera y Relacion verdadera de las fiestas y recibimie[n]to que ha hecho la Ciudad de Valencia à la Magestad del Rey nuestro Señor Filipo Quarto, y a sus hermanos, Lunes a diez y nueve de Abril deste presente Año de mil seiscientos treynta y dos (Barcelona, 1632).
