Abstract

We analyze the sexual violence against the women in armed conflict areas in Colombia’s using quantitative methodology. From the data collect from the ENVISE survey (2010-2015), we proposed a binary logistic model, which was used in order to find factors associated with the likelihood of being a victim of sexual violence. The results obtained show that some demographic and social variables increase the risk of becoming a victim of sexual violence. The results are compared with other results obtained by other researches, which have used probabilistic models, which allowed us to find some transversal risk factors.
