Millars. Espai i Història is a publication of the Department of History, Geography, and Art at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón. It addresses, through studies centered on the history, geography, and art history within a multidisciplinary framework, the academic field of Millars. This journal aims to promote the dissemination of high-level academic texts of the highest theoretical rigor. To achieve this objective, the journal has four main sections: editorial board, secretariat, editorial board, and advisory board. The rigor of the texts is ensured through the implementation of double-blind peer review.

Millars. Espai i Història uses the Oxsico plagiarism and self-plagiarism detection software, managed through the Library Service of the Universitat Jaume I.

The journal, which has been published since 1974, underwent a major redesign in 2012 and is now published twice a year with two sections: Dossier and Estudis.

Millars. Espai i Història seeks the integration and participation of all groups and members involved in the project with the aim of promoting academic excellence. As a guide to achieving rigorous work, the journal's guidelines are inspired by the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

At the same time, Millars. Espai i Història was incorporated into the Open Journal System (OJS) platform in 2012 to complete double-blind peer review and to become an open access journal immediately upon publication of each issue.

Currently, the journal has reviewers of high academic standing, both internal and external to the university where the journal is published. The goal is to ensure that every author who submits a proposal will be evaluated according to rigorous academic standards. Millars. Espai i Història is committed to securing the assignment of at least one external reviewer from the Jaume I University of Castellón.

Millars. Espai i Història, and its team, promote honest, transparent, and truthful research and reject any practice of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, falsification, and fraudulent use of data. It also assumes responsibility and commitment in each stage of the process, from the receipt of the text to its final publication.

Millars. Espai i Història invites editors, authors, and reviewers to read the specific ethical codes for each role in order to understand the concrete responsibilities involved in participating as an editor, author, and reviewer.

The journal follows the same ethical code and best practices applied by RECERCA. Revista de Pensament i Anàlisi, published by the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at Universitat Jaume I (authors, reviewers, editors), as well as the Universitat Jaume I's Code of Best Practices in Research and Doctoral Studies.

The journal complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council).
