¿Los agentes top-down y bottom-up están de acuerdo con la internacionalización? Un estudio de métodos mixtos de las universidades españolas

Este artículo analiza la implementación de la internacionalización en el sistema universitario español y sus efectos desde un enfoque de métodos mixtos, combinando técnicas de lingüística de corpus y entrevistas. Los resultados cuantitativos y cualitativos muestran que las políticas de las universidades españolas se enmarcan en la estrategia nacional y se basan en el uso complementario de estrategias “en el extranjero” y “en casa” para la investigación y la educación, principalmente a través de la movilidad, la colaboración y la educación en inglés. También se identifica una valoración positiva de la internacionalización por parte de todos los stakeholders que destacan sus beneficios para la sociedad y los individuos. Sin embargo, algunas voces críticas señalan los desajustes entre las políticas institucionales y las experiencias de las partes interesadas, cuestionando la existencia de suficientes recursos y la falta de reconocimiento e incentivos. El artículo concluye que la internacionalización transversal y efectiva debe incluir planes de internacionalización escritos, estrategias de comunicación y un modelo de internacionalización claramente definido y adaptado a las particularidades de las universidades.
