Main Article Content
Abstract

Abstract: A library has been an area that has fascinated humans due to the different levels of interpretation that this space creates. This paper reviews those journalistic essays in which the writer Joan Francesc Mira refers to that kind of sourroundings in order to show the diversity of representations that this space for book passion conforms and, simultaneously, to test the usefulness of newspaper columns as textual genre that allows the global reconstruction of a thematic personal discourse despite the fragmentation that is inherent in this genre. These texts illustrate how a real space, simply perceived, becomes a space represented through cultural adhesions incorporated by literature.
