Abstract

Comic fanzinism has been a space for the development of the feminist movement during the 20th century. The introduction of new digital tools and social networks has led to profound changes that affect the production, distribution and creation of communities through social networks, but it has maintained the essence of feminist freedom of expression in the field of comic fanzine. This article reviews the relationships between fanzinism, feminism and digital comics, with special attention to the rapid evolution that has occurred in the 21st century in Spain.
