La Baronia de Benicàssim en el siglo XVI

Abstract

Thanks to the process of entailing among the Barony, Feudal Estates and Fiefs who made up the properties of Nicolas de Casalduch following his orders, and to the different population charters (cartas de población) which his succesors carried out, we can get to know the state of the land and sea which composed the Barony of Benicàssim during the l6th Century.
Its lush forests and pastures the lack of an inhabitedurban nucleus and the repeated attemps to repopulate the land, the evolution in the tilling of the land, the fish production , etc, will be some of the aspects we will try to elaborate on.
