RESUM


L’anàlisi del gènere està entre las àrees principals d’estudi de l’anglès per a fins específics (ESP, per es seves sigles en anglès) i ha anat guanyant importància de forma gradual, ja que té implicacions clares, directes i productives sobre el camp de l’ESP. L’augment radical de la digitalització ha contribuït a que els estudis de gènere siguin més específics i precisos. La participació d’usuaris a la web com a creadors de contingut ha augmentat l’especificitat dels gèneres i les comunitats virtuals han començat a crear els seus propis subgèneres, i els textos biogràfics en són un bon exemple. L’objectiu del present estudi és portar a terme un anàlisi del gènere dels textos biogràfics a la pàgina web Internet Movie DataBase (IMDB) creats pels membres de la comunitat virtual. Els textos procedeixen de les biografies dels darrers 20 actors i actrius guanyadors d’un Oscar, amb les quals es va compilar un corpus. Per analitzar els textos, es va seguir el model Analysis of Multi-Genre Structures (AMS) de Casañ-Pitarch (2017). Segons els resultats de l’anàlisi, es proposen uns continguts basats en el gènere com a part d’un curs d’English for General Academic Purposes.
