Abstract

The work of the filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos, deeply linked to Greek history and culture, finds in the figure of the Izmir poet Iorgos Seferis a source of inspiration and discussion, and an ally to delve into the epic Homeric and the tragic Greeks.
