RECERCA is a 6-monthly open-access journal that is periodically published twice yearly (April and October). It is a publication based on double blind peer review based at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón (Spain). RECERCA attempts to attract top quality scientific articles by national and international researchers from the philosophy and critical sociology field. 

RECERCA is a journal that publishes about topical social issues and problems, which are examined from critical sociology, the democracy theory, political philosophy and applied ethics.  Recerca uses the plagiarism and self-plagiarism detection software Oxsico managed by the Universitat Jaume I Library Service.
