Author Guidelines
General considerations. Editorial policy
Since 2017 Potestas. Estudios del Mundo Clásico e Historia del Arte is a biannual electronic magazine, whose issues will be published in June and December on the OJS platform. The acceptance of articles for publication estará́ is conditioned by the positive opinion of two external evaluators in a double-blind peer-review process. The Submission of an article for evaluation implies that it is not previously published and that it is not being evaluated for another publication. In the case that an article previously published in Potestas would like to be published by its author in another medium, the author should mention this journal as the place of original publication. If you have any doubts about this, we recommend that you consult the Management of the Journal.
Publication of Originals
Articles must be original and not exceed 20 A4 pages, typed on one side only, 1.5 spacing in Times New Roman font, size 12. Footnotes must appear at the bottom of the page, as well as images, tables and graphics must be placed within the text. The images used should also be included in a separate appendix.
Articles may be written in Spanish, German, English, French, Italian or Portuguese.
Articles should be sent online through the OJS platform of the Potestas Magazine (http://www.e-revistes.uji.es/index.php/potestas), after registering as an author, where contact details will be provided. Any notification from the journal's management and any notification of the status of the submission will be made through this platform.
The articles must be accompanied by an abstract of 100 words maximum length, written in the original language of the text and an abstract in English also of 100 words. Between 3 and 5 keywords in Spanish and English must also be included. A brief ten-line CV in the language of publication of the article will also be provided.
All authors should update their profile, including the ORCID number and a brief curriculum vitae, before submitting their paper, as in the case of acceptance of their proposal, the CV will accompany the text. For the author to receive the paper copy of the journal, he/she must indicate in his/her profile the postal address, to which the journal will be sent.
