AICLE para la enseñanza de la Historia y el inglés en la Educación Secundaria: Cómo completar los materiales existentes

Resumen
La importancia del AICLE puede entenderse por las nuevas exigencias en materia de educación y las cambiantes fuerzas sociales que afectan al uso de las lenguas en contextos aplicados en la actualidad. Por ello, el uso de materiales adecuados es fundamental. El objetivo de este trabajo es doble. En primer lugar, establecer los elementos clave del enfoque AICLE, revisando los marcos teóricos que informan esta metodología para identificar sus características básicas. En segundo lugar, examinar en qué medida se aplican en la enseñanza de la Historia a través de un ejemplo real de libro de texto para 2º de Bachillerato. Para cumplir ambos objetivos, se ha elaborado una lista de nueve criterios que se utilizarán como herramienta relevante para los profesores a la hora de elegir materiales potencialmente eficaces. Esta herramienta se inspirará en las directrices de dos modelos AICLE en términos de SLA y de apoyo al contenido. Por último, se detectarán posibles nichos de mejora, siempre con el fin de aumentar la motivación de los alumnos.
