Abstract

This paper shows some of the tools adopted by NFT communities to understand how collaborative processes are taking place in blockchain. The research includes some case studies of collective NFT projects carried out by LATAM communities between the years 2021-2023 as well as the emergence of collaborative ethics that are coherent with the native technical logics of this technology. We will see the meaning acquired by resources such as royalties, splits, multi-signature wallets and DAOs to implement these collaborative logics from a technical point of view. To approach these ethics adopted by NFT communities in this aspect, I will mention the relationship that some blockchain communities maintain with a cypherpunk political tradition and with the e-commerce thinking of the High-Tech Hayekians.
