El gir ecològic dels museus industrials. Una anàlisi comparativa Regne Unit-Xina

Resum

Els museus estan experimentant un gir ecològic d'acord amb les actuals estratègies globals de desenvolupament sostenible. Aquest gir pot detectar-se també en el sector del patrimoni i els museus industrials, sobretot a Gran Bretanya i altres països occidentals, on noves preocupacions i accions mediambientals estan reconfigurant la manera de representar i utilitzar el passat industrial. En aquest article analitzem com aquest enfocament diferent s'està desenvolupant a la Xina. Per a això, prenem com a model l'experiència britànica i combinem anàlisis quantitatives i qualitatives per a estudiar cinc casos britànics i quatre xinesos. Defensem que els museus industrials tenen la responsabilitat de contribuir a solucionar alguns dels problemes derivats de la industrialització (en aquest cas, danys climàtics i ecològics), la qual cosa pot materialitzar-se amb una planificació sostenible i educació ambiental.

Junnan Li, University of Science and Technology Beijing (China)

Universitat de Ciència i Tecnologia de Pequín. És llicenciada en ciències ambientals per la Universitat Normal de Yangtze (Chongqing, la Xina) i màster en patrimoni cultural i museologia per l'Institut de Patrimoni Cultural i Història de la Ciència i la Tecnologia de la Universitat de Ciència i Tecnologia de Beijing (Pequín, la Xina). El seu principal interés d'investigació se centra en els enfocaments ecològics del patrimoni industrial, particularment en la forma en què els museus industrials de la Xina realitzen l'educació ambiental.

Universitat de Ciència i Tecnologia de Beijing. Professor associat de l'Institut de Patrimoni Cultural i Història de la Ciència i la Tecnologia, Universitat de Ciències i Tecnologia de Beijing, la Xina. Llicenciat en Història de l'Art (Universitat de Còrdova, Espanya), Màster en Arqueologia i Patrimoni (Universitats de Còrdova, Huelva, Màlaga i Pablo de Olavide) i Doctor en Arqueologia (Universitats de Còrdova, Huelva, Màlaga i Pablo de Olavide). De 2013 a 2016, va ser investigador postdoctoral en la Universitat Estatal de São Paulo (UNESP) al Brasil, i també ha completat estades d'investigació a Espanya, Anglaterra i Alemanya. Treballa sobre l'arqueologia i el patrimoni de la industrialització, analitzant principalment la industrialització com un procés de globalització, centrant-se actualment en els ferrocarrils. És membre del Consell de l'Associació per a l'Arqueologia Industrial (AIA) del Regne Unit, entre altres organismes, i dels consells editorials de les revistes Industrial Archaeology Review (UK) I Arqueologia Industrial (Portugal), entre altres.
