Abstract

This text analyzes the drifts of the term «truth» (reality) and how it has influenced the configuration of public space, especially through its media dimension. The objective is to debate and study the origin and scope of terms such as post-truth, post-censorship and the perversion of the democracy that the oclocracy implies. To do this, a hybrid methodology is used that combines the tools of philosophy, sociology and audiovisual analysis and aims to provide some light on the way in which the various agents of change are combined, as well as offer some lines of action that minimize the potential dangers of new forms of information propagation.
