Wolf Vostell conoció Los Barruecos de Malpartida de Cáceres en abril de 1974. El artista se sintió interpelado por la hermosura del paisaje y el Museo Vostell Malpartida fue su respuesta. Recientemente, ha celebrado sus primeros cuarenta años de andadura. Su proyección hacia el futuro podría residir en una vuelta a los orígenes, profundizar en su carácter de espacio para el aprendizaje, la experimentación y el diálogo, entre artistas y con el público.

ABSTRACT

Wolf Vostell knew Los Barruecos of Malpartida de Cáceres in April 1974. The artist felt challenged by the beauty of the landscape and the Museum Vostell Malpartida was his response. Recently, it has celebrated its 40th anniversary. Its projection towards the future could be a return to the origins, delving into its character as a space for learning, experimentation and dialogue, between artists and the public.
