El conflicto como cambio y su transformación pacífica como desafío en el siglo XXI

Resumen

La gran variedad de conflictos violentos con que nos encontramos en el siglo XXI hace buscar alternativas para su transformación pacífica. Es este objetivo, entonces, uno de losgrandes retos de nuestros días que implica al mismo tiempo, grandes riesgos que también hay que considerar. En este sentido, señalo la cooperación, la percepción, el poder, el reconocimiento, el empoderamiento, la responsabilidad y los sentimientos como los medios que favorecen la práctica exitosa de la transformación pacífica de los conflictos, siendo,por lo tanto, en los que hay que educar a nuestras jóvenes generaciones. El estudio de estas alternativas pacíficas de actuación permite observar otro aspecto que no se ha tenido en cuenta y que se refiere a la posibilidad de ver los conflictos como elementos positivos si son regulados por medios pacíficos. Así, sería éste otro desafío de nuestro siglo.


The huge variety of violent conflicts whereupon we find ourselves in the 21 st century makes it seek alternatives for its peaceful transformation. It is this objective, thus, one of the biggest challenges of our times, that implies, at the same time, great risks that must also be considered. In this sense, I believe that cooperation, perception, recognition, empowerment, responsibility and feelings are ways that support the successful practice of peaceful transformation of conflicts, and they are therefore the ones in which we must educate our young generations. The study of these peaceful alternatives of action allow us to observe another aspect that was not taken into account and which refers to the possibility of seeing conflicts as positive elements if they are regulated through peaceful means.
